ThisNext :: iPod touch
Not that Apple needs any more publicity, especially from the indie sector, but I’ve wanted one of these since I saw the commercial sometime last year. And for my bday a few weeks ago, Bro1 bought me the 8-gig version. You can see my geeking out here. It hasn’t left my side, except when it needs to be charged. Acute in Red
For Christmas I made these earrings. I also have them in green, I just haven’t listed them yet. They’re little Acutes like the ones I made for Lady A only Christmas-ier. I think they’re discreet enough to be worn more often than holiday time too.
I do need to do better updating this blog, even if just post entries from my Blogger blog.

Run away!
We have a neighbor. I don’t want to give too many details. The neighbor is a she and she’s…well…
 My younger brother graduated last Friday. From high school. We sent out announcements late and didn’t send one to this neighbor at all. She and my brother, actually most of my family, don’t really get along with her. She’s always watching us, waiting for us to do something wrong. She’s ultra-particular in everything she does. She’s lived on our street longer than anyone else I think. It’s like she feels entitled to know everything and then tell us what she knows.
 So today, I got the mail. In it was a card for my brother, from this neighbor. A sort of ‘Congrats Graduate’ thing, with a gift card to Target. She said she heard through the grapevine. What grapevine? We only sent it to two of our other neighbors, so it’s possible that they told her. But I’m pretty sure one of the two has been on the outs with her for years and the other is a young woman who’s rarely home long enough to chat it up with that neighbor. Is she trying to intimidate us? She’s always looked for the one-up, something to lord over us. Seriously, though.
 Of course, I’m not going to do anything. I’m too passive for that. Just wondering. She’s always around, it’s like she’s stalking us. What did we do to deserve such treatment.
 At least she didn’t give him the lame book she gave me when I graduated. 😛
